Despite the mainstream media hype, the Black community has been all over Kamala Harris and not in a good way.
Harris had a spike in the polls after she questioned former VP Joe Biden on bussing in the 70's. The media coverage would have you think Harris was winning over the Democratic party. But Kamala Harris is losing support from the Black community and some would argue that she never had it in the first place.
Months ago a video surfaced of Kamala Harris back in 2009, laughing about how she would have parents jailed for failing to make their children go to school. It has been all down hill for her since then. It does not help that she has what some would say is a bad track record when it comes to locking up Black people for drug offenses. There was a time when drug offenses were seen as a horrible crime but nowadays more and more people are against locking up people for drug offenses.
Kamala Harris has another video that is floating around online that does not help her out. When Harris first announced she was running for President, she did an interview with the popular Black radio show, "The Breakfast Club" and she admitted to smoking weed in the past.
That confession is cringe-worthy to the people that remember her tough stance against drug users when served as AG in the state of California.
Tulsi Gabbard took shots at Harris by bringing up her questionable record and called Harris out for being a hypocrite when it comes to prison reform.
Gabbard seemed to have a loaded gun, ready to take aim at Harris, saying
"There is no excuse" for her record as a prosecutor and she owed those "who suffered under [her] reign as prosecutor" an apology.
Tulsi Gabbard did not stop there, she continued to attack the former California AG. "There are too many examples to cite, but she put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence, she blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so," Gabbard said.
The Black community has praised Tulsi Gabbard for exposing Kamala Harris and if there is anything that would kill any hope Harris has of winning the Democratic presidential nomination, it's losing the support of the Black community.
