The Washington Examiner is making a bold claim which may have some validity.
In a post by the Washington Examiner, President Trump is supposedly polling better than any other Republican has polled.
Both Emerson Polling and Rasmussen Reports have it at about 34%, a stunning number. - Washington Examiner
If these poll numbers are correct then this would all but assure that Trump will be
re-elected. The Examiner sites low black unemployment as one of the reasons Trump may be doing so well with Black people.
The Examiner also states that a new Zogby Analytics survey found that African American support is at the “highest levels of the year,”
“Not surprisingly, all African Americans do not hate Trump!” pollster Jonathan Zogby said
I personally don't trust these polls. As a Black man, I have yet to meet Black people that favor Trump or would even admit considering voting for Trump.
However, that doesn't mean there aren't some Black people that are keeping their support for Trump quiet.
Most trusted polls show the Black community is in favor of former VP Joe Biden. This has been steady from the moment Biden announced he would run for President. Much of Biden's support from Black people come from his being connected to Obama for eight-years.
I would say that polls claiming that Trump has a favorable rating amongst African Americans is just wishful thinking but you never know.
I can clearly understand why Democrats wanted to impeach President Trump, it goes without saying. Nancy Pelosi did not want to impeach Trump and she had a good reason not to. Pelosi understood that it could backfire on Democrats in polls. Well, she was right.
The recent polls show that Trump's approval rating has gone up a bit since Pelosi and house democrats moved to start an impeachment inquiry. Even with all of the accusations directed towards Trump he still has the support of his base and some polls have Trump's approval rating as high as 46 to 49 percent.
The latest polls indicate that Trump's base will not budge and if anything the impeachment inquiry will likely cause the GOP to rally around the President.
I believe the rally cry to protect Trump by Republicans was Pelosi's biggest fear.
Unfortunately for the Democrats, there does not seem to be a Presidential candidate that can separate from the rest of the pack and become the overwhelming frontrunner.
President Trump admitted to asking the Ukraine government to dig up dirt on Joe Bidens son Hunter. Trump threatened to freeze $400 Million of aide if the Ukraine did not follow through with his request.
Trump's admission has sparked the impeachment debate among Democrats, putting pressure on Speaker Nacy Pelosi to begin impeachment proceedings.
On Tuesday, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the House of Representatives will open an impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
Although committed what appears to be an impeachable offense, there are still some Democrats think it is a waste of time to even attempt to impeach Trump at this point and time in Trumps Presidency. After all of the investigations, the Muller Report, the Russia probe and now this, some people just want Trump to finish his last year in office so they can vote him out and move on with a new Democratic President.
Some liberals believe impeaching Trump, will only make him look stronger in the eyes of his supporters. I believe there is some truth to that theory. Trump supporters are not fueled by policy but they are fueled by rhetoric and Trump loves to play the victim card. Impeaching him at this time would only embolden his supporters and make the Democrats look like they are just a bunch of elitists that are harassing the President. This may be the best thing that ever happened to Trump.
I have not agreed with much of anything Trump has done so far as President but this one thing he got right, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, President Trump fired the warhawk himself, John Bolton.
Bolton was appointed National Security Adviser back in 2017 but like most of Trumps hires he was fired after just 2 years. Actually, nobody knows if Bolton was fired or if just resigned. Either way, it needed to happen.
There is speculation that Bolton leaked information about internal affairs. The Trump administration has a no snitching policy and has had one from the beginning. Trump has always been weary of insiders spilling the goods on him.
Senator Lindsey Graham chimed in on the release of John Bolton:
“I like John Bolton. I thought he did a good job, I shared his worldview, however, I think the trust was lost—there’s a view that the leaking allegation is pretty sensitive to the president.”
It was a few months ago when every week there was a new story about Iran. There seemed that an eventual war with Iran was evident. Bolton has been beating the war drum for years openly calling for war with Iran as if it was just something to do. When Trump hired Bolton as National Security Adviser back in 2017, it worried a lot of people who feared it would turn into Iraqi freedom part 2.
Rumor has it, Trump and Bolton were not seeing eye to eye when it came to Iran. Trump openly stated he did not want to start a war with Iran and I'm sure Bolton had to have been greatly disappointed.
Of course, we know Bolton was only looking to profit from another war much like Bush and Chaney did 2002.
According to the Daily Beast, John Bolton was not happy about Trump inviting leaders of the Taliban to Camp David for a formal meeting. The invitation to the Taliban may just have been the final straw.
Finally, my last entry may be a big problem for Trump. According to multiple sources, John Bolton is preparing to write a book about his time as a NSA and it may be released in the final weeks of the 2020 election.
With all the talk about an impending recession, no one wants to hear about a trade war with China, no one except the President of the United States. Trump made it clear that the trade wars will not end anytime soon. Despite the recession talks and damn near every economic forecaster saying there are obvious warning signs of a recession Trump has doubled down on his trade war with China, bragging that China has had it's worse year in financially in 24 years.
Trump would tell reporters that China has been ripping America off for far foo long and somebody had to take them on. Trump spoke about himself in a heroic manner as if he was David taking on Goliath. The important part of all of this is Trump feels a 2-month recession is something he willing to allow for the greater good which is bringing down China.
A recession is very tricky and falling into one can be dangerous for many reasons.
To assume that the recession will only last for 2-months gives us all a little bit of a peek inside of the mind of Trump.
First off, I don't think for one second that Donald Trump is actually even thinking about making extensive background checks mandatory. Trump made a similar promise after the Parkland High shooting in Florida. Nonetheless, Trump has been under much scrutiny for being insensitive and he has to at least try to come across as being sympathetic.
“There was a great appetite for background checks,” Trump said to reporters on Wednesday.
Conspiracy theorists have already started the "they're coming for our guns" outcry on social media. However, as we all know, the NRA controls the Republican party. There is no way in hell Trump would buck against one of the parties biggest contributors. Common sense is something that many of these conspiracy theorists lack. The NRA turning on Trump would be an automatic loss for Trump in the 2020 election.
According to The Washington Post, NRA Chief executive Wayne Lapierre spoke to Trump and told him that his supporters would not be in favor of a background check bill. The Washington Post also reports advisers to Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell said he would not bring any gun control legislation without widespread Republican support.
The warning to Trump by the NRA and the comments made by McConnell's advisers only reiterate what I have been telling conspiracy bloggers and podcasters since the El Paso shooting was first reported, there will be no real gun control legislation passed by either party no time soon. It just does not sit well for conservatives in office. Yes, there will be talks about gun control bills but passing the bill will be like committing political suicide for Republicans.
Black people are continuously accused of using the race card. What I never hear is how some White people do the same thing but in reverse. Donald Trump ran his Presidential campaign on racism and using stereotypes against Latinos to convince low encome White people to vote for him because he would give them jobs and stop illegal immigration.
It's important to note that the reason he was able to play that card against Latinos is because of this idea that illegal immigrants are stealing jobs from hard-working American citizens.
Now Trump is going after four non-white congresswomen and saying they should back to their countries. Trump would go on to say that these congresswomen come from countries with failed governments that are corrupt.
The problem is 3 out of 4 of these women were born in America, which speaks for the way racists truly think about non-whites. Racists tend to only see white people as Americans and everyone else is just a visitor, whether they were born in America or not.
Democrats always overreact whenever Trump says something racist. I personally feel that Trump knows exactly what he is doing and he knows his base. He says what his base wants to hear and what they want to hear is "White Power!".
Trump is a businessman at best but more importantly, he is a con-artist and Trumps supporters have been conned.
What they don't know and fail to understand is that Trump hatred is not limited to just Black and Brown people, Trump does not like anyone but himself.
They say there is a sucker born every day and Trump has found 40% of those suckers right here in America.
Abovetopsecret.com is making a bold claim that liberals will lose a second Civil War. What’s interesting is that right-wingers have an obsession with civil war talk. I can never say that liberals or the democratic party don’t have their own problems within its party but the right has a way of always speaking in code. The right seems to love using words like Patriot and Deep State but the other subject that comes up quite often on many right-wing sites is civil war. It’s strange but it also makes me point out the fact that the right wants so badly to overthrow the government but fail to realize that the man they elected to be President of the United States is the most establishment-friendly President ever. While claiming he was going to drain the swamp, President Trump filled his administration with so many people from Goldman Sachs that a Youtuber posted a video that was an hour long just naming them all. Also, the tax cuts that Trump was supposed to have given the working middle class somehow only went to the top 1%.
Abovetopsecret.com is making the claim that Democrats will lose a second civil war and called the Democratic party the party of hate. The site also makes the claim that Trump will win in 2020. That’s all fine and dandy but what does that mean for conservatives? Are they really that obsessed with bashing liberals that the only thing that matters is that a Republican wins and they can go online and tease liberals? If so then America is falling faster than what a lot of people think.
Over 5,000 US products coming in to China may be hit with a 25% import tax.
This is a significant increase from what use to be 10% tax on these incoming products.
The increase will have an impact on foods such as frozen vegetables & cooking oil.
Also, appliances & clothing will be hit by this tax increase.
Trump is threatening another tax increase which has China prepared to put ban on rare earth minerals.
China has released a document blaming the US for a breakdown in trade talks.
According to Bloomberg, China has accused Trump of making unreasonable demands. Morgan Stanley has voiced concerns that a global recession is imminent if Trump were to impose 25% tariffs on Chinese exports.
The problem is by the time Trump realizes he is making a huge mistake, he may not even be in office. The trade wars and economical impact will be passed on to the next President if Trump loses the 2020 election. Of course, Trump supporters will brag about how great the economy was under Trump and never understand the downside of Trumps time in office. Thus the cycle will continue.
After all of the trouble that the Trump administration has been in and all of the people that have been locked up, indicted, and subpoenaed. You would think conservatives would tone down their rhetoric about how they are going to lock up Hillary Clinton and arrest Obama. Nope! These idiots still haven’t learned. Conspiracy theorists are still claiming that Trump will use William Barr to investigate the Obama administration for Spygate. It is laughable at this point and in some ways, it is a little bit frightening to know that there are people in this country that is this stupid.
It almost seems as if they have yet to figure out that the only people being arrested are the people associated with Trump but there is this constant obsession about locking up the Dems. Spygate is not even being taken seriously by anyone but for some reason, conservatives think it is going to lead to arrests or indictments.
The pro-conservative website “thedailyconspiracy.com” posted a full article on spygate and it is intriguing but misleading. The editor even went as far as to claim that there was no evidence of collusion found in the Mueller Report .
Here’s the link if you care to read.
Even though Trump has shown frustration with the aggressiveness of National Security Adviser John Bolton, Trump has also kicked it up a notch by stating that military engagement would mean
“the official end of Iran.”
"I will not let Iran have nuclear weapons," Trump told Fox News host Steve Hilton. "I don’t want to fight. But you do have situations like Iran, you can’t let them have nuclear weapons — you just can’t let that happen.”
Trump has been known to talk tough in the past, however, he has been bullied by his best friend in the world Vladimir Putin.
No one knows what is really going inside the mind of Trump and ti be honest I don't think he knows either.
It is a little known fact by most people that certain officials inside and out of the Pentagon have desired a war with Iran since as early as 2001. National Security Advisor, John Bolton has been begging for this war for some time now. Back in 2012, Andrew Adler, a writer for the Atlanta Jewish Times wrote in a post that then President Obama should be assassinated and replaced by someone who was willing to strike Iran.
Trump asked the Pentagon back in September of 2018 if they had a plan to strike Iran. On May 9, 2019, Trump’s top National Security Aides had a meeting and a strategy was presented.
Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan laid out an updated military plan which includes deploying 120,000 troops to the Middle East should Iran attack American forces or accelerate work on nuclear weapons, according to administration officials.
Although Trump has recently claimed he does not want a war with Iran, I highly doubt that Trump will go against the wishes of the powers that be.
It has also been reported that the Pentagon already have a strategy in place. The only thing missing now is a good excuse. I expect a lot of talk about terrorism and national security threats to push their agenda.
Trump double downs on Charlottesville. Trump continues to claim there fine people on both sides of the Charlottesville incident that sparked outrage from people across America. This time Trump not only says there were fine people on both sides but he gives praise to General Robert E. Lee and says he is one the best Generals. Funny thing is with all of the reverence that is giving to General Lee, people often forget that he lost the Civil War. I have never seen so much praise given to a loser but it also goes to show how much racism is still a factor in America.
Trump’s approval rating drops 5 percent despite having a good economy. I believe that is mainly because most people do not believe that Trump is the real reason why the economy is doing good in the first place. Majority of Americans know that President Obama helped keep the economy from collapsing after George W Bush dragged the U.S into two wars during his Presidency. So the Obama administration is still fresh in the minds of many Americans. Trump tried to take credit for policies and plans that Obama already had in place. One major policy that sticks out is affordable health care which Trump and Republicans have vowed to get rid of but have yet to offer something better. I believe this has caused many Americans not to believe in anything that Trump claims or takes credit for. The other reason why Trump may be suffering in the polls is because of the Mueller Report. Trump tried to put his spin on it early before the report was even released to the public. Early claims of no collusion and complete exoneration were touted by the Trump administration but when the report was made public and everyone in America had access to it, people were able to see just what a liar Trump is. The report did not exonerate Trump at all, in fact, it says the opposite. Even some FOX news hosts were forced to say that the report does not make Trump look good.
No matter the reason why Trump is sliding in the polls, even he has to know this does not look good going into the 2020 election, especially after Democrats have taken over the house by mopping the floor with Republicans in the midterms. Trump has hit the lowest approval rating he had since has been in office 39 percent approval and 57 percent disapproving his job performance.
I remember very well how Republicans attacked Bill Clinton and pushed for his impeachment in the late ‘90s. Clinton very famously received a blowjob from Monica Lewinsky and purjured himself.
I also remember the many attacks against former President Barrack Obama.
Who can forget Donald Trump harassing Obama about his birth certificate?
Who can forget how often Obama was accused of being a agent for Iran?
Some rightwing conspiracy theorists even called him the leader of Isis.
Now fast forward to the present and you will see these same people crying foul because Democrats are holding Trump accountable for his actions. I’m amazed at the hypocrisy of the right-wingers these days. Rightwingers are mostly bible thumping, high moral, Christians that often talk about family values but they continue to make excuses for Trump who has paid off prostitutes and pornstars. What happened to the bible thumping and the good ole Christian values?
Why was Bill Clinton such a horrible person for receiving a blowjob but Trump is excused after being exposed for paying off hookers and pornstars?
At this point, I could make the argument that the Republican party is dead.
The old Christian and family values only apply when a Democrat is in office. They love to tell people how patriotic they are but it seems when a Republican is in the White House, they are more concerned with supporting their President instead supporting their country.
If Obama had done half of the things that Trump has done, these Republicans would have been the first people to demand an investigation and would have yelled loudly for impeachment proceedings to begin.
I don’t mind the fact that they are partisan hypocrites, I just want them to admit it.
Trump seems to be upset after Bernie Sanders received cheers at the FOX NEWS Town Hall meeting. Trump seems to be very defensive even tweeting about how many Trump supporters were there but weren’t seen on camera. Bernie Sanders was ambushed by the Fox News hosts but came out looking good as a Presidential candidate even in a hostile environment. Trump has been on a tirade, acting insecure and very much like a child that is jealous of his brother who is getting more attention than he is.
I can understand why Trump is upset. If Bernie is actually able to flip some of Trumps supporters, it could really be bad news for Trump in 2020.
Attorney General Will Barr believes that the FBI spied on Trump’s campaign back in 2016. This is adding fuel to the fire that Trump started when he accused Obama of planting spies. AG William Barr confirmed that he believes what Trump has stated about Obama and the FBI.
"I think spying did occur, yes," AG Barr said
"I'm not suggesting that those rules were violated, but I think it's important to look at that. And I'm not just talking about the FBI necessarily, but intelligence agencies more broadly," Barr said.
"I am not saying that improper surveillance occurred. I'm saying that I am concerned about it and looking into it, that's all," Barr also said.
Barr seemed to be in sync with everything that Trump has been saying about the Russia investigation being a witch hunt. It's odd that he is pushing this narrative of the FBI spying on Trump after Democrats asked for the full Mueller Report. Is this a distraction from the Mueller Report by Trump and the Attorney General?
More on what Barr stated concerning the FBI spying on Trump's campaign:
"I am going to be reviewing both the genesis and the conduct of intelligence activities directed at the Trump campaign during 2016. And a lot of this has already been investigated and a substantial portion of it has been investigated and is being investigated by the office of (inspector general). But one of the things that I want to do is pull together all of the information from the various investigations that have gone on including on the Hill and in the (Justice) Department and see if there are any remaining questions [need] to be addressed."
- Barr said.
